I'm looking for a ceiling fan suggestion for a unique situation in my home. The room above my garage and below the attic seems to heat up significantly more than the other areas of the house. It has a flat ceiling with two slanted edges, kind of shaped like this: /--- . Here's a picture of the room for reference: https://imgur.com/a/3UkGmwG. I need a fan where the top of the blades is at least 20 inches from the ceiling and the blade width should be about 40 inches. Any suggestions would be really appreciated!

You might want to consider using a downrod extension for your ceiling fan. These allow you to drop the fan down anywhere from a few inches to even several feet, which could help with airflow in your room. Just make sure to choose a fan that isn’t designed for flush mounting, and you should be set!
Honestly, I'd hesitate to recommend anything without knowing more about the heat issue. If you're trying to cool down a room that gets that hot, sometimes fans alone won't do the trick. Just keep an eye on how well the fan performs after installing it, especially if it’s in an awkward space.

I appreciate the caution! I definitely want to make sure I get something effective. I'll consider your advice.
