I've been using a push rotary lawn mower for years, but I'm not thrilled with the quality of the cut. I'm leaning towards getting a Dewalt mower since I have other Dewalt tools, but I feel like I can't justify the purchase for my small yard, which is about 1000 square feet. Are there any good electric mowers out there? Also, how do the 40 hp Ryobi mowers perform?

Before jumping into a new mower, consider getting your current rotary's blades sharpened or adjusting it. It could really enhance the quality of your cut. Plus, there's a chance that the dulled blades might be the root of your frustration!
Yeah, sharp blades can make a huge difference. I should get around to that myself!
