Recommendations for High-Performance Inverters with Wider Voltage Range

I'm on the hunt for a reliable inverter for my off-grid home setup. Specifically, I'm looking for something that meets the following criteria: at least 5kW, 48VDC, pure sine wave, and preferably split phase. A crucial requirement is that it should be able to operate at 62VDC or more. My last experience was unfortunate—I tried an AIMS pure sine inverter, but it was a complete disaster. It flickered my incandescent bulbs constantly, consumed power even when idle, and now the cooling fans aren't working, causing the unit to overheat. Customer service has been terrible, and I've regrettably wasted $3,000 on this. Can anyone suggest a better inverter that fits my needs? Thanks for your time!

Unfortunately, the Schneider XW series has been discontinued, which is a shame because it was a solid low-voltage inverter. I've been using the Sol-Ark 15kW for my 48V systems, and it has incredible features that come at a fair price. Outback still makes their reliable 48V models, although their support has seen a decline after the recent ownership change. Midnite has a great reputation too—they just released the Aio, which claims to support 64V. If you're looking for something with a proven track record, these might be your best bets!

Thanks for your input! I’m leaning towards trying a Victron.

Most Victron models can handle up to 60V, but I'm curious about why you specifically need 62V. It seems to push the limits of standard 48V equipment.
