Recommendations for Houseplants that Grow Tiny Flowers

Hey everyone! My wife is getting into pressing flowers to make jewelry with resin, and since Mother's Day is coming up, I thought it would be a nice surprise to get her a few houseplants that she can grow and harvest for this purpose. We live in the north of England, but we have a south-facing window, so we can provide plenty of sunlight as needed. Could anyone recommend houseplants that produce tiny flowers suitable for pressing?

It really depends on what you mean by 'tiny'! For something like pendant or large earring size, I'd say look into Hoya or Kalanchoe. They have small flowers, but not exactly what I’d call tiny. Maybe you could go for something like geraniums too? Their individual flowers look fantastic once dried and pressed!

Thanks for the tip! I've definitely seen geraniums around, and they’ve got that nice shape for pressing.

Hoya flowers are beautiful too! They're kind of a fun addition to have around.

If you can find streptocarpella, also known as the nodding violet, that one flowers quite a lot! It could be perfect for your wife's project.

Flame violets or Tahitian bridal veil can also work well! They both produce smaller flowers and might be great for what you're aiming for.

Consider trying a spider plant! They can produce tiny flowers that are a bit ephemeral, but they’re certainly charming.
