I'm looking to add some greenery to my home with indoor plants that are low maintenance, safe for pets, and can thrive in indirect light. I'd appreciate any plant suggestions that fit these criteria. Additionally, if you know of good online stores for purchasing plants, that would be super helpful! Thanks in advance for your ideas!

For your situation, you have some great options! You might want to consider Hoyas, Spider Plants, Baby Rubber Plants, or Parlor Palms. They're all safe for pets and do well in lower light conditions. If your home is humid, you could also try Ferns or Calatheas. And just a heads-up, while Snake Plants are marked as somewhat harmful, they usually don’t cause serious problems unless your pet eats a large chunk of the leaves.
Totally understand the need for low light plants! You might want to check out Fishbone Cacti or Mistletoe Cactus, plus they’re fun and unique! Dead easy to care for too! For watering concerns, using distilled water can help if you go for plants like Nepenthes. Just make sure to avoid any toxic plants like Sago Palms or true Lilies if you have pets. When it comes to buying, sites like Plant Delights or even local nurseries can be great especially for finding pet-friendly species!

That's a solid list! I've had good luck with African Violets as well, plus they bloom beautifully!
