I'm trying to find a reliable label maker to label my breaker panel, water manifold, and cover plates. I'm particularly interested in non-thermal options since my experience with thermal printers is that their labels tend to wear away, which isn't acceptable for my needs. Does anyone have a product they can recommend?

If you're looking for durable labels, try using a Brother or Dymo label maker. They print on the backing and then laminate over the top, which makes them super sturdy. I've been using these for 30 years in telecom, and I have labels from back then that look as good as new! You can also coat the edges with clear nail polish for extra protection.

That's reassuring to hear! I already prefer Brother, so I’ll check those out. Thanks for the tips!
