I'm moving into a new home in May, and it won't come with a washer and dryer, so I'm looking to buy a new set. Can anyone recommend the best options? It would be great to find something on sale, but I'm willing to spend more if it means getting a high-quality unit!

I'd suggest anything but Samsung and LG. I usually stick with basic Whirlpool models, and they've served me well.
If you're looking for high-end options, definitely consider Miele or Speed Queen. You could also look into heat pump models or all-in-one washer-dryer combos. Sites like Consumer Reports or Wirecutter are great for research. I've got the Miele W1 and T1; they are pricey, but I'm hoping for longevity!
I've been really happy with my Electrolux washer and dryer. They clean well and have a ton of features. Definitely worth a look!
