I'm looking to replace my current over-the-range microwave, but I've got a unique situation: there are no upper cabinets in my kitchen, so it currently looks like it's 'floating.' It's held up by some metal L brackets attached to the wall. What type of microwave can I get that will work with these existing brackets?

I've never actually come across an over-the-range microwave that doesn’t rely on upper cabinets for support. They typically need that cabinet to hold them in place safely, so I'd be cautious if you’re trying to do it without one.
