I was recently diagnosed with MS and I'm planning a remodel of my house in three phases to make it easier for me to manage. I'm facing a dilemma in Phase 2 where I'll need to move out to a short-term rental (cats included!), likely starting in late autumn/winter. I have over 50 plants in semi-hydro conditions of various sizes, and I'm at a loss about how to handle them during this time. Has anyone come across a service that operates like a kennel for plants? Any suggestions would be immensely appreciated!

Some nurseries near me in Melbourne actually offer plant boarding services, but it may be pricey. Have you thought about asking friends or family to help out for a few weeks? If they're not into plants, could anyone in your office be willing to babysit them for a bit?
I totally get the anxiety about your plants! If you happen to be in the Mid Atlantic region, maybe I could help out. Just let me know if you want to chat about it! And don't worry, sometimes things pile up and it feels overwhelming. You'll figure it out! 9b8
Hey, a great idea might be to reach out in your local Facebook or Nextdoor groups. You could ask if anyone has temporary space for your plants. And honestly, don’t beat yourself up—you're not an idiot for being concerned about your plants! 9b8
Also, taking into account how popular the idea is, you might find someone who’s more than willing to help. Good luck!
