I'm looking for a pet-friendly weed killer because my neighbors have outdoor cats that tend to use our mulch as a litter box. I've been steering clear of Roundup due to its toxicity, not just to pets but to me as well. I'm not interested in vinegar-based solutions either. Is there anyone who has found an effective and safe weed killer? I came across a product called Naturia that has Maleic Hydrazide as its active ingredient. Any advice on this or other alternatives would be appreciated!

I usually mix white vinegar with lemon juice, a bit of vegetable-based soap, and salt. It's a non-toxic and budget-friendly option! Just make sure to apply it carefully around your plants to avoid harming them.
Have you tried using a propane torch? It's super effective in burning the foliage and can be a fun way to deal with those pesky weeds! Just make sure to use it responsibly.
This is definitely the most fun method! Who doesn't enjoy a little flame action while gardening?

What ratio do you use for that mix?
