Hi everyone! I'm working on expanding my succulent garden and I'm aiming to include some plants that provide height, color, and texture. Specifically, I'm looking for succulent plants that can grow to about 3 to 4 feet tall, thrive in full sun, and are suitable for planting directly in the ground. I'm avoiding cacti and local natives for this project. I'm considering crassula ovata and portulacaria but would love to hear any other recommendations you might have. I'm based in San Jose, California, in zone 9B. Any suggestions or pictures would be awesome! Thanks a ton!

You might want to check out _Kumara plicatilis_! It adds a really unique look to any succulent garden and can definitely give you that height you're aiming for.
Aeoniums are fantastic for some height! I planted a few a while ago, and they’ve grown over 3 feet in less than two years. They really stand out when planted in the ground.

Oh, that's great to hear! I've seen some gorgeous examples of Aeoniums. Do you have any pictures of yours?
