I've got a pretty beat-up mailbox and a brand new one ready to go. I'm thinking about getting it installed but finding a handyman for this small job has proven to be a real challenge. Since I'm older and have some disabilities, I might not be up for DIY. I use a lawn care service called 'Smith Lawn Care' for weekly grass cutting and some landscaping tasks, but I'm not sure if a lawn care company, despite their landscaping services, would handle something like mailbox installation. I could just call them up, but I hesitate because it's a small family-run business, and the wife handles the phone while also managing the grandkids during the day. Should I reach out to them about this?

It can't hurt to ask! They might be busy, but if you're a long-time client, they should be happy to help. Even if they can’t do it themselves, they might know someone who can. Go for it!
I think it’s reasonable to ask if they’d consider doing the installation. Even though it's not traditional landscaping, they might be able to handle it or refer you to someone who can. Just give them a call! Worst case, they say no.

Yeah, I agree! I’ve had my lawn care guys help me with other things too, even stuff outside their usual services. They might surprise you!
