Should I Buy My Shower Wall Set and Bathtub from Home Depot or Lowe’s?

I'm eyeing a shower wall set that I really like, but the only places around me that have it in stock are Home Depot and Lowe's. I'm wondering if there are any downsides to buying from them since I want to make sure I'm making a wise choice.

If you're okay with the quality, then there's really no reason not to buy it from them. Just keep in mind that well-known brands at big box stores sometimes offer a version that's a bit lower in quality, specifically made for those retailers. You might notice a significant difference compared to models you can directly order from the manufacturers.

That's good to know! I guess I'll have to check the specs,

Exactly, just do a little comparison shopping!

Generally, the shower kits are pretty standard no matter where you buy them from. So as long as the design suits you, there's not much to worry about.

I went through this myself! At Lowe's, they didn't have the one I wanted in stock because the packaging was damaged. I ended up buying a standard alcove tub and wall set from Home Depot, the "Bootz Industries Aloha NexTile set," and it turned out to be really solid. I paid about $634 after my military discount. It was easy to assemble and has held up great. I believe the Lowe's product is of similar quality, so you should be good either way! Good luck with your project!
