Should I Buy Now or Wait for Black Friday Deals on Tools?

I'm looking to buy some essential tools for light home and car projects and want to know if I should snag a few items now or hold off until Black Friday. I'm specifically interested in the M12 hammer drill and impact driver set, an M12 stubby impact wrench, and possibly a ratchet. I noticed that my local Home Depots haven't had the best glitch pricing recently, but there's a decent deal for $200 on a high-speed ratchet with two 5.0 batteries, plus I can utilize a "hack" for the drill/driver set for about $164 and the stubby for $146. I'm curious if I've seen good deals as I've read posts about the drill combo dropping to around $130-140 and the stubby around $120 during Black Friday. Are those prices common? Thanks for any advice!

I'd recommend holding off unless you find a major glitch deal. If you're only looking for a single drill, I wouldn’t suggest the M12 hammer drill. It tends to lack the power needed for bigger tasks. The M18 hammer drill is much better if you need heavy-duty capabilities. However, the impact driver is solid and efficient on battery usage. If you don’t need all the tools right now, waiting for Black Friday will likely get you even better deals!

I've been building my tool collection for the last couple of years. Personally, I wait for tools to drop between $95-105 using the Home Depot hack, since I don't need all the extras like extra batteries. Honestly, I haven’t seen prices go much lower than that unless there’s a glitch or some other overlapping deals. Just know that if you can wait, it might be worth it, especially if you want to avoid buyer's remorse later.

Yeah, if you can afford to wait a bit longer, it could really pay off in the end. Just keep an eye on the deals! I snagged the M12 drill/driver set for $105 in February.

True, it's usually better to hold out unless a crazy glitch happens.
