I've noticed that the M12 3/8 stubby is sold out almost everywhere. However, my local Home Depot has it available for $199 as a bare tool. Do you think I should buy it now while it's in stock, or would it be better to wait and try to find it on sale later?

If you really need it, go ahead and snag it. But if it's not urgent, it might be worth holding off until after May 4th when more stock could be available.
