I'm looking to modify an existing cabinet to make it a bit shorter and I think a track saw would be perfect for the job without having to take the whole thing apart. I have a pretty good brushless Ryobi circular saw, but I'm not planning on using a track saw frequently. Should I go for the Milecraft saw guides and make use of my current saw, or should I splurge a little on the WEN track saw which is just a bit pricier, offers double the track length, and supports various track accessories like clamps and squares?

I have the WEN 7.5” track saw and honestly, it’s been serving me well. If you're just doing a few projects, it might be worth it for the extra features you get. Plus, the longer track is super helpful for larger cuts.
If you’re mainly working with plywood, I’d definitely recommend the Milescraft saw guide. The precision you get with the guide is pretty solid. But if you don’t have a strong circular saw already, the WEN could be a good investment.
