I'm looking to replace my old fuel impact driver (model 2953-20) and I'm torn between getting the Surge (model 2760-20) or sticking with a non-surge model. I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on the differences between them, especially if you have experience with either. Also, is the One-Key feature worth the investment?

I've used both, and I usually reach for the Surge. It's quieter and lighter, which I prefer. That said, for heavier work or larger projects, the regular impact does have its advantages. I don’t use One-Key tools, though; I can't see spending the extra cash for just a few tools.
From what I've gathered, a lot of people think the Surge is more useful as a secondary tool. If you're looking for something to handle tougher tasks, the fuel impact might be the better choice. Only go for the Surge if you're sure you won’t miss out on that extra power.
It really comes down to what you need it for. I've got the M18 Surge and I absolutely love it! For me, it's mostly about driving self-tappers and 3-inch wood screws, so I don't require a ton of torque. If you're mostly doing lighter jobs, the Surge might be a good fit.
