So I have a drywall contractor working on my place, and I recently noticed something a bit concerning. I caught him on my security cameras drinking from a 2L bottle of Dr Pepper directly, taking several sips before putting it back in the fridge. It's just soda, but it makes me worried about trusting him with the rest of the job. Should I bring it up? Has anyone else dealt with something like this? I even have the video evidence!

Forget the chit-chat, just screenshot that footage and use it as a warning! He'll think twice before doing something similar again. A little psychological strategy might be the way to go here.
That's pretty gross, man. I'd definitely say something. It's not like he can't ask for a drink, but drinking straight from the bottle and putting it back? That's crossing a line.
I think you should talk to him about it. Just let him know that while drinks are fine, he shouldn't drink directly from the bottle and put it back. If he responds poorly, you can decide to fire him then. Better to stay on top of things before they get worse.
Absolutely! There’s no harm in setting some boundaries. If he blew this off, that would say a lot about his work ethic.

Exactly! It's about respect for your space and your belongings. If he can't respect that, it makes you wonder what else he might not care about.
