I have a Clematis that bloomed beautifully, but now the flowers have fallen off and left these fuzzy puff balls. Would deadheading these spent flowers help encourage more blooming? Also, I'm not sure what type of Clematis I have, which I've heard can make a difference.

Deadheading can help a bit, but remember that Clematis blooms are generally seasonal. The impact largely depends on the type of Clematis you have. For instance, type 1 varieties tend to bloom only for a limited time. So, even if you remove the spent flowers, they might not produce more blooms until their next season.
Thanks for the info! That’s a bit disappointing but at least I know what to expect. My Clematis was stunning when it bloomed!
