Should I Disclose Using Beeswax on My Cutting Boards When Selling?

I'm finishing my cutting boards with a mix of beeswax and mineral oil, but I've never mentioned it when selling them. I'm starting to wonder if I should disclose that information, especially considering allergies to bees. Has anyone else faced this dilemma, or is it not something to stress about?

I see it more as a positive feature to highlight. Educating customers about how to care for their boards can be a selling point!

You really don’t need to disclose it, but I’d definitely promote it! Many customers appreciate natural finishes, and it’s good to inform them since allergies typically relate to the bee sting, not the wax itself.

Honestly, I don’t think you need to make a big deal out of it. Just mentioning how you finish the boards could be a simple part of your product description. Most people wouldn’t see it as something critical to disclose.
