I just bought a new home, and during the inspection, I was told that the water pressure is too high at 100 psi, while it should be between 40-80 psi. I'm wondering if this is something I can handle myself as a DIY project, or if I should play it safe and hire a plumber. I know a plumber who charges $50 just to come check it out (not necessarily adjust it). What do you guys think? Should I try adjusting it myself or leave it to the professionals?

If it's your new home, consider hiring a plumber to take care of the water pressure along with inspecting your sewer line and water heater. Some plumbers offer service plans that could save you money in the long run!
