I have the M12 Gen 2 3/8" impact and I'm thinking about buying a 1/2" impact wrench to handle different jobs on my personal vehicles. My concern is whether the Mid Torque would be too similar to my existing 3/8" model, while I'm worried that the High Torque might be too bulky and could risk snapping bolts. I'd primarily use the new impact for removing tires and doing suspension work. Though I know the Gen 2 3/8" can take care of most tasks, I'm looking for something with more power. Any advice on which option would be best?

I recommend the High Torque. When you need to tackle bigger jobs, you'll want that heavy-duty capability. It's good to have for those times when you really need the extra muscle!
I own the M12 3/8" too, and I usually save my High Torque impact for when things get really stuck. I’d suggest going for the High Torque personally; it’s like your "oh crap, this isn’t coming off" tool. You'll be glad to have that extra power when you need it!
I think the High Torque is the way to go, especially since the Gen 2 stubby kind of replaces the Mid Torque. Just keep in mind, some people feel the Mid Torque still offers some things the stubby can't quite handle as easily. But overall, for heavy-duty stuff, you want the High Torque!
That’s true! I've faced some bolts on engine swaps that the stubby struggled with but the Mid Torque breezed through.

Exactly! Everyone needs that "I'm done asking nicely" impact for tough jobs!
