Should I Get Rid of Spanish Bluebells in My Garden?

I've been enjoying the bluebells in my garden, but I've heard mixed opinions about Spanish bluebells being invasive. As a newbie gardener, I'm open to removing anything that's harmful and replacing it with non-invasive options. What should I do?

If you don't have native bluebells nearby, it's usually fine to leave them alone since they're not causing much harm. But if you do have native populations nearby, you might want to dig out the Spanish ones to protect the locals.

In my experience, Spanish bluebells can spread really quickly! If you want to keep your garden manageable, removing them and planting native bluebells is a better plan. The native ones have such a delicate look compared to the Spanish ones.

Honestly, as long as you keep them under control, there's no major issue with having them in your garden. They can be pretty lovely when they bloom!
