I currently have a full-size bathroom on the main floor, but the shower takes up a lot of space. I'm wondering if I should keep the shower as is or turn the bathroom into a powder room and add a closet instead. Any thoughts?

Before making a decision, consider whether there are any bedrooms on the main floor and how many bathrooms you already have. If you have kids or guests staying over, the shower may be pretty necessary. Also, think about what you want long-term. Would you stay in the house for a while or sell it soon? This could influence your decision.
I live in a 1400sqft house with three small bedrooms upstairs and two full bathrooms up there. The main floor is open concept but lacks storage, so the bathroom is definitely one of my concerns.
