I've been hearing about people moving their indoor plants outdoors during the growing season. I'm curious if anyone has experience with this and whether it's actually beneficial or worth the hassle?

If you do decide to move your plants outside, make sure to treat the soil before bringing them back in. You'd be surprised at how many bugs can get into your pots! I usually flush the soil and then treat it with neem oil to keep pests at bay. It's a bit of a hassle, but worth it to avoid an infestation later—trust me!
I live in SoCal and it's been great moving some plants to my covered patio. They often bounce back and look amazing after a little outdoor time. Just keep in mind your local climate—if winters aren’t harsh like ours, it could work well for you too!
I've got a small olive tree that I keep indoors during the winter with a grow light, but in the summer, it gets all the sunshine on my deck. I don't do this with all my plants, though, because my fiddle leaf fig got sunburned when I tried it. So, it's definitely a mixed bag! Just be careful and monitor them closely.

I hadn’t even thought about bugs! That sounds like a lot of work, might stick to inside for now.
