Hey everyone! I'm a first-time poster and I'm working on building a loft bed for my daughter. I've got everything cut and sanded, and I just bought some high-quality urethane paint from Sherwin Williams for durability. My question is whether it's better to assemble the bed first and then paint it or to paint it before assembly and just do some touch-ups afterward. I'm looking to save time, so any advice from those with experience would be greatly appreciated!

I’d suggest going for a primer and a first coat before assembly, then you can do any touch-ups once it’s put together. It’s especially helpful if you’re using different colors and don’t want to deal with masking later on.
