I moved into my place over a year ago, and the rooms were professionally painted in some muted cream colors, which I chose when I wasn't sure what I really wanted. Now, I'm thinking about changing the color of my bedroom and sitting room. I'm torn between hiring the same professionals again or doing it myself. I know the artists did an excellent job and I'm worried about ruining the look, but it feels a bit excessive to bring them back just for two rooms I could potentially paint myself. What do you think I should do?

Honestly, it’s a financial call. If you can treat yourself without stressing your budget, hiring out could be a good idea. But if you’re tight on funds, trying it yourself could work just as well!
Getting a quote from professionals can help you decide if you want to try painting yourself or stick with the pros. Just think about what’s more valuable to you in the end - perfect clean edges or the freedom to experiment with colors at home.
I say go for it and give it a DIY shot! It’s not too hard, just requires some time. Plus, it can save you a ton of cash. If it turns out you don’t love it, you can always hire the pros later to fix it up.
