Hey everyone! I'm a complete beginner in woodworking, and I recently finished assembling a cornhole board in school. Now, my teacher asked if I'd like to paint or stain it, and I'm leaning towards painting. However, I'm a bit worried about whether paint offers the same level of protection as stain, especially since the board will see some fair use. So, which option provides better protection?
