I'm repainting my living room to a white or cream color. There was one dark brown wall, while the other walls were a lighter shade. The lighter walls look great after two coats, but the dark brown wall still isn't perfect. Should I add a third coat to only the dark wall that needs it, or do I need to re-coat all the walls? You only need to focus on the dark wall. Since it's hard to cover dark colors, it's fine to add a third coat there. You're good with the lighter walls as they already look great. Just make sure to use primer next time for darker shades!
