Hey everyone! I've got an 8-foot hairline crack in my foundation that's visible both inside and outside my house. It leaks a little when it rains heavily, and it looks like it was cemented over before. I've already done some outdoor work, like running gutters away from the house and planting trees, but during heavy rains, I also notice water dripping around the sewer line entry. I'm wondering: 1. Should I get this repaired right away? 2. Is $4,500 for indoor repairs and $7,000 for outdoor repairs a reasonable price for fixing the two leaks? Here's a link to some photos: https://imgur.com/a/br0qADy. Any advice is appreciated!

From a structural standpoint, that crack isn't concerning. The real question is whether those little leaks are causing significant issues. If it's just drops that run down to the floor, it might not be a big deal at all. But you should definitely keep an eye on it during heavy rains.
I get where you're coming from. My house was built back in 1890 and was constructed over a natural spring. I’m still struggling to figure out how to stop the water from coming in after a century of it flowing through. You might want to shop around for repair quotes, but it's a good idea to get those leaks fixed eventually.

Not a big deal at all! It’s just a few drops that seem to run down the crack. I can see some water stains halfway down, but nothing severe.
