I'm trying to decide whether to just swap out my current cabinet doors for some new ones, or if it would be better to invest in completely new cabinets. I'm looking at slightly wider doors to fill the gaps better and make everything look nicer. These cabinets are 42 inches tall, and I'm open to either painting them white or going with a light grey. Plus, I'll be upgrading to stone countertops soon. I'm planning to share a picture in the comments since I can't upload it here.

I revised the cabinet doors in my kitchen before. I made them a bit larger to cover more of the face frame, and it really improved the look! Just a heads up, you’ll likely need to swap out the hinges when you do this. I got my new doors from barkerdoor.com, and they have this awesome [tutorial](https://www.barkerdoor.com/Full-Overlay-Tutorial-s/188.htm) on how to measure for the proper overlay. I also added some shaker-style trim and crown molding, and everything is painted with Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane paint. Honestly, people couldn’t tell they weren’t brand new cabinets – it made such a difference from the old, ugly build-quality! Doing new doors, drawer fronts, and hardware was only a few grand too!
