Should I Replace My Entire Bathroom Vanity or Just the Faucet?

Hey everyone! I recently bought my first home and we put in a budget bathroom vanity and sink because the place was a total mess when we moved in. Now the hot water faucet handle has come off, and the threads are too worn to screw it back in. I'm wondering if I should just replace the whole vanity and sink since it's a cheap model from Home Depot and I'm hoping to upgrade eventually. Is it possible to glue the handle back on, or would it be better to just swap out the faucet for now? Thanks for any advice—I'm a total newbie at home repairs! ?

Replacing the faucet is actually pretty simple. Seriously, just watch a few YouTube videos; you'll be amazed at how easy it is! You might need to get some tools like a wrench if you don’t have one, though.

You could just replace the faucet instead of the whole vanity! It's usually easier and cheaper than swapping everything out. Just check it out and see if you can loosen it first—you might be surprised!

Thanks for the tip! I thought it was all one unit, but I’ll take a closer look.

If you're looking for a quick fix, you can grab a decent $80 faucet from any box store and use that until you’re ready to do a full bathroom remodel. It’ll serve you well in the meantime!
