Should I Replace My LVF or Install New Flooring on Top?

Hey everyone! I've got luxury vinyl flooring (LVF) down, but the installer didn't level the subfloor in many spots. I'm wondering if I should take the LVF out and level the subfloor completely or if it's okay to just put new flooring on top of the existing stuff. What do you think?

If it's not too much trouble, I’d recommend tearing it up. It’ll be a pain to deal with the uneven surfaces later, and you might actually be able to unclick and reuse the LVF, which is a bonus!

Good point, might try reusing it!

It honestly depends on how bad the unevenness is. If there's just a slight bump, you could probably get away with it. But if the difference is more noticeable, like 1-2 inches, leveling it out first could save you a lot of headaches down the road.

Not much, just a slight bump! ?

If that's the case, you might be fine just going over it!
