I recently noticed that the previous owner installed OSB walls in a room, but they don't fit with how I want to use the space. I'm aiming for a more finished look. Is it better to remove the OSB walls entirely and replace them with drywall, or can I just put drywall over the existing OSB?

Drywalling over OSB is totally doable. Just think about whether you'll need access to wiring or plumbing later. If that's a concern, removing the OSB might be a smarter choice.
You can go ahead and drywall over the OSB. In some designs, especially in garages attached to living spaces, it’s a common practice. Just be aware of any trimming you might need to do for windows, doors, and electrical boxes due to the extra thickness.
You can definitely put drywall right over the OSB! Since you already have a sturdy wall, you could even opt for 1/4" drywall. This method has its perks, like making it easier to anchor things on the wall, and it offers added sound and thermal insulation. Just be mindful that you might need to make some adjustments to outlets and switches due to the added thickness.

Exactly! Besides, having the OSB means you won't have to worry as much about mounting things later. It's quite a solid base for any fixtures!
