I'm feeling a bit unsure about 'hacking' the purchase process at Home Depot. I read up on it and found some tips, but I approached it wrong and now I'm worried I might mess it up when I get to the store. I'm thinking about returning everything I ordered instead of keeping what I have. Plus, I'm eyeing a high torque option—they have a deal for two at $429. I'm wondering if it's better to buy both, sell one for a slight loss to lower the price of the one I keep, rather than trying the hack which requires spending more than $450. What do you think?

Honestly, just return what you don't want. Don't overthink it! Grab what you really need to get a good deal and then do a normal return for the rest. Just keep in mind that if it's a bundled deal, you can't just return part of it—you'd need to return the whole bundle.
