Should I Seal These Cracks with Foam Backer and Caulk?

Hey everyone, I've got a couple of gaps that I'm trying to tackle and want some advice before I dive in. In the first picture, you can see a pretty large crack in the top corner of my shower where two tiles meet. The second picture shows a gap around my wall AC unit and its frame. I tried looking online for solutions, but I want to be sure I'm on the right track. Should I seal these cracks using a foam backer and then caulk them?

Just go ahead and caulk it! I've dealt with bigger gaps before and it worked out fine. Don't stress about it too much.

So should I be putting a foam backer in there before the caulk, or is it okay to just caulk it directly?

That crack in the shower looks pretty serious. Moisture must have gotten in there between the panel and the wall. Honestly, I'd suggest caulking it for now, but when you have some time, you might want to open it up and check things out more closely. You might end up needing to re-tile it altogether!

It was already caulked, but it cracked up. When I removed the old stuff, I found that big gap. Do you really think I should re-tile the shower?
