I recently asked my handyman to install two gutters on my simple house, which has two straight 40-foot sides and no gables. I wanted zinc C-shaped or half-circle gutters, but he pushed back because he prefers to use seamless gutter materials that come in rolls. I like the idea of seamless gutters, but I really dislike the K-style design. Am I being unreasonable for wanting something different? I have a vision for my home's aesthetic, planning to paint it charcoal gray and add a wall of windows to showcase the view of the hill and pond. Should I just go with the K-style gutters?

You should definitely go for what you like unless budget is a huge concern. Remember, it's your house, and your vision should take priority over your handyman's preferences.
It's your home, so absolutely get what you want! If you're willing to pay for the C-style gutters, go for it! I had seamless K-style gutters installed but I'm planning to switch to C gutters myself down the line.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend having a handyman install gutters. As a gutter company owner, I've repaired a lot of handyman jobs. If you prefer half-round gutters and can afford it, go for it! Just be ready for them to be pricier than K-style. Make sure you get quotes for seamless aluminum C gutters if that's your choice!
