I've been a big fan of both Dewalt and Milwaukee tools for work, but I'm facing a dilemma. My Dewalt batteries are starting to fail, and I'm wondering if it would be smarter to let them die and gradually switch to Milwaukee for my tools (like lights, drills, circular saw, and oscillating tool), or should I just buy new batteries for the Dewalt tools I already own? I've been gradually getting into Milwaukee over the past few months but I'm unsure what to do next.

I started with Dewalt too, but I slowly shifted to Milwaukee—now I'm about 60/40 in favor of Milwaukee. Most of my Dewalt tools now serve as backup or shop tools, while my Milwaukee gear is my go-to on job sites. Don't overlook that FlexVolt circular saw; it's a beast!
