Should I Use a Die Grinder or an Angle Grinder to Cut Off Bolts?

I'm trying to cut some bolts off of my old rusted vehicle. Initially, I was leaning towards using an angle grinder, but now I'm curious about die grinders because of their versatility. What do you think is the best tool for this job?

If you can fit an angle grinder in the working area, that’s what I’d go for. I only use the die grinder when I'm really tight on space, but keep in mind it cuts much slower.

It really depends on the space you have to work with. If you're in tight spots, the M12 die grinders come in both right angle and straight options that can fit where a full-sized angle grinder won't. Another option is the M12 cutoff tool, which is like a mini angle grinder specifically for cutting bolts.

I’d definitely recommend going with an angle grinder and a cutoff wheel. It’s usually the best choice for cutting bolts quickly and efficiently.
