I've planted my pepper seeds with humidity domes on them, but I'm about to sow my tomato seeds this weekend. I've come across different opinions on whether I should use humidity domes for the tomatoes or not. They'll be warming on a heat mat inside my house. What do you all recommend?

I agree with keeping the dome until they sprout. Once they do, it's good to remove the dome and the heat mat. Otherwise, your plants can get leggy if it's too warm.
I always recommend using a humidity dome until your seedlings germinate. It helps keep the growing medium moist, which is crucial for germination. After they sprout, you can take the dome off to give them some fresh air.
In my experience, using a dome isn't always necessary. I grow in a controlled basement environment, and I've had success without them. Just keep an eye on the humidity and the moisture level in your soil!

Thanks for the tip! I'll make sure to watch for that.
