I'm trying to figure out the best method for testing radon levels in my home since I'm not sure if it's safe. I'm leaning towards an electronic meter because it seems convenient, but I've heard worries about their accuracy. Should I just play it safe and go for a lab test kit instead? I've read that radon levels can fluctuate, meaning short-term tests might not give a true picture of the situation. Any recommendations or personal experiences would really help! Thanks!

For what it's worth, I've been using the Airthings Wave Plus and it's done a great job for me across two homes. I set up my meter to get a baseline before having a pro come in for testing, and the results were consistently reliable, well within the expected range. Plus, it helps with ongoing air quality monitoring.

Totally agree on the Airthings! It showed nearly 100 at one point, and when I got a technician to check it, I didn't even need a pre-test - it was clear we needed mitigation. They installed a fan and now it's all good!
