I'm kinda new to this whole lawn care situation and could use some advice. After my lawn was completely leveled down to about 1.5-2 inches, I'm wondering if it makes sense to spray Roundup on the freshly leveled soil before laying down sod. My idea is to tackle any weeds or crabgrass that might try to pop up again. I'm planning to wait a week after spraying before the sod gets laid. I know Roundup has its downsides—I'm not using it on food—just looking to prevent weeds from ruining my new grass. If there aren't any helpful suggestions, I might just delete this post.
