I've been noticing a musty smell when I shower, so I decided to check out my bathroom vent. After popping off the vent cover, I found some questionable dust inside. Is this something I should be concerned about? Any tips on how to fix this situation would be really appreciated! It sounds like you definitely need to clean that out! Dust can really reduce the effectiveness of your bathroom fan. Removing the cover should be pretty easy, and you can give it a good clean. Just a heads up, all that dust could be from overspray or just general accumulation.
Yeah, I just cleaned mine out too, and it made a huge difference! You don't want that dust blocking your airflow.
