Hey everyone! I'm a 17-year-old who is definitely on the heavier side, and I'm about to start my first job at a landscaping company this Monday. I know it's going to be a lot of hard work, and I'm worried about keeping up with everything. I plan to give it my all, but I'd really appreciate any advice or tips from those who've been in similar situations!

Just keep a positive attitude! Listen more than you talk, and always be ready to ask what needs to be done next. Your eagerness to learn and improve will shine through, but be prepared for some challenges along the way. Stay dedicated, and you’ll achieve your goals both physically and at work. Good luck out there!
Make sure you're fueling up and staying hydrated! A lot of it won't just be about weight; being out of energy can affect how people see your performance. Drink plenty of water and consider adding electrolytes during the hotter days. Also, snacking on small proteins throughout the day can really help keep you going. Best of luck! And definitely take some before and after pics - you're gonna love seeing the progress!
Consider hitting the gym for some personal training before you start. It's important to build not just strength but also the endurance needed for all that lifting and pushing you’ll be doing. The physical work of landscaping might help with the weight loss too, but getting a head start is definitely a good idea. Good luck! You’ve got this!

Totally agree! But don’t forget that people might judge based on your weight initially. Just be respectful, willing to learn, and show your commitment. It’s a journey, but you’ll gain their respect in time.
