Stripped Torx Screw: Can Soldering Help?

I've got a tight Torx screw that got stripped pretty badly. I've tried using screw extractors, but they haven't worked. I'm wondering if soldering a bit onto it or using an Allen key could be a possible solution. Has anyone dealt with a similar issue or tried this method before?

Soldering might not be the best option since it creates a weak joint, but you could try gluing a similar screw on top with superglue if the surfaces are smooth enough. Then, you could use vice grip pliers to unscrew it carefully. Drilling it out is another solid approach.

For smaller sizes like T9 or less, if it's a solid metal part, you can hammer in a bigger sized bit to create a new socket to extract it. Standard screw extraction methods can also work, but success will vary.

If you've got a Dremel or something similar, you could try cutting a slot into the screw head for a flathead screwdriver. If that doesn't do the trick, drilling it out is another option to consider.
