Struggling to Remove My 12V Drill/Driver Battery – Any Tips?

Hey everyone! I recently joined the Parkside x12V Team with their oscillating multi-tool and the drill/driver (model PSBSAP 12A1) that features a detachable red chuck. I really love the multi-tool—though it is quite loud, which I suppose is common for these tools, considering it's my first one. However, I've run into a small issue with the drill. Initially, I could insert and remove the 12V 2Ah battery without a hitch, but now it's super difficult to get it out after just a few uses. It seems like the clips aren't releasing properly when I press them. Has anyone else had this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

I appreciate the tip, but that didn’t really work for me. Since those batteries fit other Parkside tools, I’m thinking about slightly sanding down the plastic flaps on the drill's handle to help with the clip release.

Have you tried pushing the battery in a bit while pulling it out? Sometimes that helps the clips catch and release better. It can be a bit finicky with battery connections.
