I'm having a tough time unscrewing my toilet seat to replace it with a new one. I can't seem to turn the screws at all, and any help would be appreciated!

When you're trying to remove a toilet seat, usually there’s a way to stop the top part from spinning while you work on the nuts underneath. A screwdriver can help get a grip on the top of the plastic screw, and for the bottom, you should be able to loosen it by hand. If that’s not working, grab some channel lock pliers! Don’t worry about damaging the old screws; the new seat comes with its own hardware. A little WD-40 sprayed on the top can also make it easier to break any seal.
Yeah, WD-40 can work wonders! Just let it sit for a minute before you try again.
