Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit stuck and could use your advice on my closet bypass door situation. My closet has a 7ft opening, and I really want to install two large 43" doors. However, I've only been able to find doors that max out at 36". This has left me with a dilemma: should I go with three doors instead? If so, would I need to hunt down a three-rail hanging setup? Or maybe I should opt for four doors with a couple sharing a rail? To complicate things further, I have a set of drawers in there that takes up 28", so I can't go smaller than that. Has anyone else faced a similar challenge? Also, I've considered the idea of joining two 24" doors, but I'm not sure how that would look or how durable it would be. Any insights would really help!

Hey there! If you're really struggling with the door sizes, I'd recommend checking out a local door shop. They can custom-make doors that fit your space perfectly. It won't be much more expensive than the big stores, plus you get to choose the design you want! If custom isn't your style, you could also consider three 30" wide doors, with two on a back track and one on the front. That way, you can swing them open easily and still maintain that nice look you’re aiming for!
