Struggling with Illness Since Moving – Any Advice?

We recently moved into a new house about six months ago, and since then, my husband has been dealing with a sore throat and nose irritation. It's gotten serious, with blood appearing in his phlegm, and it's worsening daily. I wake up with a dry throat every morning too. Despite having run numerous tests, we can't find an explanation. We've ruled out mold, air pollution, and carbon monoxide. I'm reaching out to see if anyone has experienced something similar or has suggestions on what we should do next!

You might be dealing with new allergens or irritants. Have you had your husband tested for allergies since the move? Things like new pollen or even cleaning products can cause reactions. It's worth checking out!

Have you looked into formaldehyde levels? This can sometimes be an unseen issue in new homes. It’s also worth considering if you have proper air filtration and if the indoor air is exceptionally dry—it can really affect your throat and respiratory health.

It sounds really tough! I think it’s a good idea to keep checking the house for hidden issues, like look in attics or crawl spaces. You might also want to consider renting a thermal camera to spot any moisture or leaks that could be causing issues. Don't ignore what your body is telling you!

We've checked those areas already, and it came back clear. Sigh!
