Struggling with Low Break Loose Torque on M12 FIWF12

I've been having trouble getting my M12 FIWF12 impact wrench to undo lug nuts. I've torqued my wheels to 100 lb-ft, but my Milwaukee 1/2 impact just can't seem to break them loose. I'm currently using 2Ah batteries that are fully charged, yet there's still no success. Is a bigger battery necessary, or is it disappointing that the 2Ah can't handle this?

I don't know your exact model, but my Milwaukee 2767 does a pretty good job on lug nuts torqued to 140 lb-ft with a 2.0 battery. It takes a bit of effort with a few ugga-duggas, but it gets them off. That said, if you're tackling multiple vehicles, you might drain the battery pretty quick. I switched to a 2562 for my cars and use the 5.0 battery on the heavier model because I have some spares. Seems to work better!

The model I have is the FIWF12-0, so maybe that's part of the issue.

Hey, have you checked if you’re using an impact socket? It can really make a difference! Sometimes the socket type can affect performance.

Yeah, I've used different sizes of impact sockets for various parts, but I also tried regular sockets just to rule that out.
